There is always more to learn, and the world is more nuanced than you think. That’s most of why I write: an argument is the only way I know to find out whether an idea survives contact with the details.
I’m a student at Woodstock School in Mussoorie, India, where I’ve served on Student Council and written for The Woodstocker. The essays tend to sit underneath politics rather than in it: ownership, incentives, liberty, and the distance between how a system is meant to work and how it actually does.
The most underrated form of democracy and civic education there is, and for that reason, it must be strong.
